Remy R. Perot, Esq., is a native of Broome & Tioga Counties.  He received his law degree from the State University of Buffalo, New York, in 1967.  Mr. Perot founded his firm in 1971 with a concentration in criminal defense, DWI, personal injury and trial work.  He has distinguished himself in the area of alcohol and drug related cases. Mr. Perot is admitted to practice in the Third Department of New York State, the New York State Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the United States Supreme Court.
 
Remy is recent Past President of the Broome County Bar Association, an active member of the American Bar Association-Criminal Defense Section & the Tioga County Bar Association, National Criminal Defense Attorney's Association, New York State Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and is the founder and President of the Southern Tier Defense Attorney's Association. He has also served on the Judicial Selection Committee and the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Broome County Bar Association.Mr Perot has been a speaker at Continuing Legal Education Seminars for both the New York State Criminal Defense Attorney's Association and the Broome County Bar Association on DWI and Criminal Law.

In addition to the above, Mr. Perot served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association and is chair of the Criminal Justice Section of the Broome County Bar Association.  He is an integral member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and Judicial Selection Committee of that association. Mr. Perot has been accepted as a member of the Presidential Who's Who among Business and Professional Acheivers for the 2010-2011 Edition which will be registered in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.. He is a dedicated advocate who works diligently to preserve the Constitutional Rights of those he represents.
